Checking & Adjusting Motherboard Power

To measure the voltage you will need a
multimeter
multimeter
of any model; for adjustment, a thin flat screwdriver.
Set the multimeter to
DC voltage measurement mode
DC voltage measurement mode
, or to the
20V DC measurement range
20V DC measurement range
(depending on the multimeter model).
Place the multimeter probes on the motherboard
power connector
power connector
. Read the value. The nominal voltage is 12.6V; during reboots/operation the reading must not drop by more than 0.5V.

If the reading is low (below 12V), adjust the motherboard voltage.


Adjusting the motherboard voltage — S / Milkshaker

The motherboard voltage is adjusted by turning the resistor screw on the step-down board above the motherboard:

Place the multimeter probes on the motherboard
power connector

, and with a thin screwdriver slowly turn the screw clockwise while reading the voltage. Bring it to 12.6V. ATTENTION! Do not exceed 13V! If you over-adjust, turn the screw counterclockwise.

Adjusting the motherboard voltage — Shaker Touch

The motherboard voltage is adjusted by turning the resistor screw on the machine's UPS board:

, and with a thin screwdriver slowly turn the screw clockwise while reading the voltage. Bring it to 12.6V. ATTENTION! Do not exceed 13V! If you over-adjust, turn the screw counterclockwise.
