Cooling temperature range: -10 to +15 degrees Celsius.
Connection fitting diameter: 6 mm.
Refrigerant type: R600A, 100 g.
Compressor cooler install kit
Cooler unit;
220V power cable;
6mm connecting fittings;
6mm PVC hose of the required length;
9x10 thermal-insulation tubes (optional).
Connecting the hoses to the cooler
6mm PVC hoses are used to connect the cooler. The inlet and outlet hoses can be connected to the cooler in any order. To secure a hose, insert it into the fitting as far as it will go and pull it back until the locking ring opens. To disconnect a hose, press the locking ring against the fitting and pull the hose out (example in the video below):
Connecting the cooler hoses to the machine when using a submersible pump
Option 1 — with the standard cooler disabled
When using water supply from a submersible pump, the compressor cooler is connected into the hydraulic line, bypassing the standard cooler. This may require removing the standard cooler. The pipe connection diagram for the S / Milkshaker model is shown below.
Attention! For the Shaker Touch model the scheme is different — the inlet pipe is on the left, the outlet on the right!
Remove the right pipe from the standard cooler and remove its adapter, first taking off the locking ring :
Fit a connecting fitting onto the PVC hose and connect the other end to the hose going to the compressor cooler inlet.
Disconnect the left pipe completely — from the standard cooler adapter to its entry into the water meter — first taking off the locking ring :
Insert the outlet hose from the compressor cooler into the water meter fitting (mind the flow-direction arrow!):
A brief connection diagram is in the photo below:
Option 2 — without disabling the standard cooler
Remove the clip, disconnect and remove the angle fitting before the inlet to the valve group:
On the PVC hose disconnected from the angle, fit the straight 6mm adapter fitting from the kit (or, as in the example photo, an ordinary tap); on the other side, extend the PVC hose and insert it into the chiller inlet:
Insert the cooler outlet PVC hose into the angle fitting and fit the clip on the connection:
Connecting the cooler hoses to the machine when using mains water
With this type of connection, insert the outlet hose from the water filter into either fitting on the front panel of the compressor cooler. Connect a 6mm PVC hose to the second fitting on the panel and insert it into the fitting on the machine's rear panel:
Powering on and configuring the compressor cooler
To start the cooler, set the power button to "I". The controller shows the current temperature, and after a few seconds the cooling circuit starts — a snowflake indicator flashes on the display:
Set the temperature: press the SET button twice. Use the up/down arrows to set the desired cooling temperature. Do not touch the controller for 30 seconds until the display returns to the current temperature (the setting is saved at that moment). Recommendations for the target temperature: do not switch to maximum cooling right after installing the module. To start, set a target of +5; for especially hot locations, +1 degree. Setting a negative temperature with low sales or when the machine stands idle overnight will cause the hoses to freeze and clog with ice.
Set the differential — the temperature difference at which cooling switches on. Press and hold the SET button until the PA indicator appears. Press SET — an access-password prompt appears (default 00). Press SET again until PA appears. Press the up arrow and, after DIF appears, press SET . Use the arrows to set the differential value (default 1 degree Celsius) and press SET . Do not touch the controller for 30 seconds until the display returns to the current temperature (the setting is saved at that moment).
Example: with a set temperature of 5 degrees and a differential of 5 degrees, the cooler switches off when it reaches 5 degrees and switches back on when it reaches 10 degrees.
Finishing the setup
Prime the water and fill the machine's hydraulic system.
Wait for the water to cool to the set temperature.
Set the water level in the mixer and calibrate the water dosing.
Make a test drink and measure the drink temperature.
With long hoses, heat loss can reach several degrees depending on room temperature. Use 9x10 thermal-insulation tubes on the PVC hoses.
