Replacing the Manipulator (Touch 2)

The manipulator is replaced when the boom bearing seizes. In the machine's service menu — Engineering menu tab — press the "Arm test" button. The manipulator moves to the pour position and returns to its default position. If during the test the manipulator does not reach the pour position or moves in jerks, the module needs to be replaced.

Steps to replace the manipulator:

  1. Switch off and power down the machine;
  2. On the rear wall of the machine, below the valve group, find and disconnect the manipulator position-sensor connector:

  1. Inside the machine, below the concentrate-pump priming buttons, find the manipulator motor terminals in the wiring harness — 52(+V) and 51(-V) — and disconnect them:

  1. Unscrew the manipulator module's screws and remove it:

Fit the new module in reverse order. After installation, switch on the machine, open the service menu and run the arm test to check operation.
