Replacing the Cup Sensor

To replace the cup sensor, remove the drip tray and unscrew the fixing screws of the dispensing window:

Carefully pull the dispensing window towards you and detach it from the machine. Unscrew the plastic nut and pull out the cup sensor:

Pull out the cup sensor cable and find its connector:

ATTENTION! Be sure to photograph the connector before disconnecting it. Disconnect the old sensor from the connector and connect the new one.

To check that the sensor works, bring your hand up to the sensor lens. A red diode will light up on the back of the sensor. If the diode does not light up, compare the connected sensor connector with the photo of the old sensor's connection and flip the connector.

Insert the cup sensor into the opening of the dispensing window and secure it with the plastic rings. Make sure the sensor's diode lights up when there is an obstacle anywhere in the zone:

If the sensor does not cover the whole window area, use a thin screwdriver to increase its trigger zone by turning clockwise:

Refit and screw the dispensing window back in place, and refit the drip tray.
