A list of definitions and terms used in our wiki.
- Machine — a vending machine manufactured by Shaker.
- Terminal — a cashless / contactless payment device connected to the machines. Examples: Vendista, Kit Pos Master (and Lite), Vendotek.
- Telemetry — a service for remotely monitoring the machine's state, tracking sales and product stock. There are many variations from different providers with different features; we recommend working with ours — developed specifically for our machines and offering functionality others don't have.
- MDB — the protocol for payment devices. There are 3 versions of the protocol. Shaker machines are set to version 3 by default.
- AnyDesk, RustDesk, MyAssistant — programs for remote access to the machine's computer over the internet.
